gentleman; search the forums. it was removed from the gui, but is still available as an advancedsetting. reason is it was a support nightmare (people tend to always enable whatever says high quality without considering their hardware capabilities).

Sd-Upscalling appears on a movie video settings page, you can choose bilinear or nearest neighbour (lanczos/bicubic are missing) so I guess it is on by default. Correct me if I am wrong.

Awesome Awesome media player. Movies look fantastic. Thanks a lot to XBMC team.
One problem I found when playing audio, it doesnt read picture Tags from every file.

For example if i have File 1 Metallica - enter sandman & File 2 Metallica - the day that never comes in same folder.

It only considers picture tag of the first file, Is there a way to change this.
Is it possible to read picture tags from every file instead of album.
Hope the develops are listning.

Not a major issue though, greatest media player ever.

Hey guys,

just updated from Babylon stable and so far the release looks great!
Just one question:
Was SD-Upscaling really removed? I can't find the options anywhere and am a little shocked since the quality of SD-Material is awful without it.

Thanks in advance.

I was being diplomatic with the truth ;) Of course, I will endeavour to submit something useful as soon as I get some quality 'mucking around' time with XBMC and not just watching stuff on it (girlfiend permitting)...

Blimey! A light-hearted comment from Spiff. Must be the Christmas spirit...

Seriously though - good news about RC1. Awaiting final with anticipation. Well done to all the devs.

Will this version be compatible with *ubuntu Karmic-Koala? I haven't tried installing the previous version on there, as I read that it's not supported. And I'm eager to try this out on Karmic...

Have a great day:)
