There is something wrong with the fast forwarding, or when you press the arrow buttons to skip forward. The video becomes totally messed up if you skip forward..

Congrats on this great release! I installed the RC a few days ago and been very happy with it. It’s resolved all of the bugs I’d been struggling with in 8.10. I’m downloading the final version now.

I know this is a completely ridiculous question for the release comments, but what is the wallpaper from, used on the right image?

Have been running a dedicated xbmc-htpc for almost a year now, and only had a few issues with Atlantis, those seem to fixed in this one, sweet! :)

I got 2 machines. (Celeron 2.8ghz Geforce fx5200) (AMD3200+ Ati 9600pro). On one of them it wouldnt even start. just crash directly. On the other one the video formats is weird just top left is “normal” and the rest is smooth out. I got some screenshots. I want the Beta1 release again. Because it worked.

Well I was talking about XBOX 1, it can play 720p/1080p at 1 fps, more or less :)

I know this has been ask before. But just so I know how it is going I will ask again. When will we be able to run .exe files in xbmc. I don’t care if xbmc will run the .exe file. Just that I can set it up to start the .exe file. I am runing windows vista 32bit and I would like to run xbmc from bootup of vista. Which I know how to setup. But I can’t get xbmc to stat programs like nero or emulators or the web or any .exe files. If xbmc could start the program and just sit in the background till the program is closed I could use this program for all my apps. Any info would be great. Thank you I will be checking back here over the next five days for any help.

@Zyn: We’ll most likely see XBMC running under LINUX on the Xbox360 very soon.

hello. i have an apple tv which is dying to run xbmc for me. but i have pc’s running either xp or vista. when will the download be available to me? thanks alot

HAI! I just downloaded this. I turned on my TV and I still see Dan Rather. How do I upload him off?

I Have four things to say one is that Xbmc is the best MC out and thats final. That it allows to play almost every container out there. so for this it gets 5 out of 5 Stars. the secont one is that every time a movie/clip/ep/ is forwarded/rewinded or you jump 15/30/1minutes it out syncs and then syncs again this can be quite annoying!….(Not on the Old XBOX) The third is that it loses frames every time a movie/clip/ep/ is played. this being Xbox/Pc/And live-cd dont have the other Hardweres to test. On old Xbox forwarded/rewinds checks Fine(Old Xbox runs mpleyer. New Xbmc [Not Xbox] uses its on DVD player). The Fouth and last Vob-Subs arent quite there yet Most the time they dont even show [Not on Xbox]. Till This is Fixed im Not switching the Old XBOX For an HTPC i only miss HD content till then My Best Combination is Xbox/Xbmc Allways……… Keep the good work!!!!!!!!!

Excellent software. Unfortunately I was looking forward to being able to play HD DVR-MS files especially as XBMC supports VDPAU but they crash XBMC every time. Otherwise a really good App.

Tried it but, went back to 1-16 XBMC Pimped edition because it plays all of my .mp4’s where as Babylon will play DVD’s. MP4’s are more important to me than DVD’s.
