hello everone hope you are having a great monday! :lookaround:
i just wanted to know a few simple things that do not seemed to be easily stated in any one place. 1. after i unrar the python scripts into the python folder, should new scripts like the movieguide go in the python folder or the scripts folder? *which go where? *alex albrecht former host from thescreensavers says the python folder http://alexalbrecht.typepad.com/alex...tes/index.html yet many say the scripts? 2. how in the hell is that movieguide scripts supposed to work -- all it does it lock up. *the quicktime gets as far as the parsing stage and hangs and many other scripts just don't do anything. *the shoutcast works great. 3. why are the network settings tags no longer included in the xboxmediacenter.xml? took me hours to get my weather working again before i noticed that these tags were no longer there. thanks everyone for looking! |

thanks for the info. *i downloaded the latest xbmc and the xboxmediacenter.xml file did include the network section -- my bad. *i did a file compare with a great free program called file comparer http://www.snapfiles.com/get/filecomparer.html and saw what i had messed up. *
one more question i did have though... the python23.zlib file... does that need to be unzipped to the python folder or left alone? *there are quite a lot of files and folders in that zipped library but exactly what they all do i am not sure. *do i need to edit any of them or should they all be left alone? thanks for your help! malarrya |
