Req: cd burning

after reading about the 'games from a network share' script, it got me thinking about how this could solve the cd burning problem. the idea is:

create a playlist via normal methods in xbmc.
save the playlist
launch the script which would:
1) obtain the total time of the playlist
2) contact its server counterpart to see if it is available and there is enough free disk space (could be some set figure like 1g).
3) server would then check to see if a blank cd is in the drive, and that it can accomodate the lenght of the cd.
4) xbmc would transfers files to server, server would convert to wave, and then burn.
5) server would clean up after itself.


i'd be happy to write the server part if there are any volunteers for the xbmc portion.
