Play Xbox-Games on a Windows PC?

i hope this doesn't come off as too stupid a question, but i figured if anyone knew the answer, it'd be the guys here. i used the search but couldn't find an answer.

would it be possible to run the xbox image off a pc? the idea is that when booting up, you could use a boot loader (like the lilo already employed by many linux distros) to choose either windows or xbox.

i'm not interested in copying games, or anything of the sort, just running the xbox image on a normal pc (modified to accept new drivers i suppose).

i just figured that if you can run an xbox like a pc, why not run a pc like an xbox?

no you cannot. there's 1 xbox emulator (that i know of) in development, but development is kinda stalled atm http://www.caustik.com/cxbx/
