xmc is almost perfect, and already is going to be used instead of xbmp. but this one feature would be very handy if implimented.
it would be great to be able to restrict certain shares. it could be set so that when a share that is protected is selected a box will come up asking for a pin number. access is granted when the pin number is entered correctly using the remote control. pin numbers could be specified in the following way in the xml file: <bookmark> <name>restricted movies</name> <path>xns://192.168.1.2:1400/$root$xxxmovies</path> <pin>1234</pin> </bookmark> a default pin of 0000 could be used to allow access without a pin having to be entered. |
