I just popped on Rev21981 from Rev21933 and the weather's animated icon are going nuts
They are moving insanely fast.Looks like a limiter was removed or something. http://pastebin.com/f22541d24 |

How are these things animated exactly? Are they animgifs, or are they a bunch of multiimages or what?
Where can I get the skin files? Cheers, Jonathan

They are a group of .png files.
Im using the MediaStream_Redux MOD Pack skin. If you want to grab the whole thing its here. http://xbmc.org/forum/showthread.php?t=54207 The files are in the textures.xpr in the media dir. Once the xpr is extracted they are in a dir called weather. Or of this helps here are the weather files. http://www.mediafire.com/?sharekey=9...5965eaa7bc68bc Edit: Rev21958 is too fast as well. So its between 21934 and 21958. Last edited by SlaveUnit; 2009-08-05 at 04:23. |

Right, most likely candidate is r21940. Not sure why that would cause this behaviour - skin must be doing some funky vis stuff.

That's strange. I presume this is on the weather page? There's not a lot going on skin-wise there that I can tell.

must be an issue with the Textures.xpr file.
if you download the weather files (from your link above) and put them in the media folder, the issue goes away.

Nice catch Ronie. I've moved the weather folder out of the xpr and it's working fine again. I tried to repack the textures.xpr a couple times just to see, but every time the weather was left in, they animation was still screwed up. I guess we just leave the weather folder out of the xpr. Are there any specific guidelines on what should and shouldn't go in the xpr? I notice some skins have almost everything in the xpr and others have everything in subfolders under media.
