Default Search operators and instructions

When using the advanced search function I am unable to search for an exact phrase, I have tried quotes, double quotes, AND, + when searching and they all bring up the same results. Other forums I have been on have exact phrase search capability, does this one?? I have seen numerous posts advising 'newbies' to use the search function but see no instructions telling them how it works. Am I missing something obvious or is this the case? There should be instructions or a link to instructions on the search page as well as stickies in all forums. I feel this would help to greatly reduce the number of duplicate posts in the forums.

When in doubt of the forum search tool, I turn to Google.

Use a search string like: "exact phrase you're searching for" site:xbmc.org/forum
