Does the Aeon skin require special nfo files?

I've been reading up a little on the Aeon skin which looks awesome, however, I noticed a few people mentioning that they had to overhaul their library by adding nfo files (and maybe changing some other stuff ... the posts weren't too specific). I was just wondering if anyone could provide some more information as to why these nfo files are needed (I know what they do in general ... store movie or TV show information). Can't I just scrape the information as usual when using the default skin?

no, but it help's to clean up and localize them for consistency and performance reasons.

Is there an easy way to localize nfo files to where my media is stored?

i.e. move the TV shows nfo's from where xbmc stores them to their specific TV show folders, and movies to movies etc.

I'm using XBMC on Windows.
