Default What options are available for Vista MCE Remote

I was wondering what is the best option to get a MCE remote to control XBMC for Windows?
I have a Vista MCE Remote. I am running Vista w/ sp1 x86.
I have installed the MCE replacement driver.
I have tried EventGhost but it is not detecting my button presses. I have tried Girder 4.5, but it is not detecting the remote presses either. I know the remote is working because I have loaded traylauncher and used it to launch XBMC, that works fine.

It's gotta be something I'm doing wrong?

Sounds like something you'll want to ask about in forums related to remotes, girder, or eventghost. These forums are for XBMC-related issues.

I've been able to use eventghost successfully with a usb-uirt (with a random universal remote) and also with a mce remote and reciever. Got it to work with xbmc on windows great...

HIP is another option.. I know some got that working, but I had problems with the navigation arrow buttons, so I gave up on it.
