Required Librarys to run xbmc pc

Hi guys, I've given up trying to get ubuntu running sucessfully with my network, and now thought I would try the install from the thread "where to download."

I have a download, however I have problems with missing dll's which I have subsequently found on the web. However, I now have the following message.

The procedure entry point __GLEW_ARB_texture_non_power_of_two could not be located in the dynamic link library.

I am assuming this build is specific to a certain brand of GFX card or something.

My system is an XP2700 with 1GB ram and Nvidia GForce FX5500.


Is there a required minimum spec to run, or is there a set of dll's that are required.
