library mode

im told that in order to see the cast and cover art, and all the junk that the scrubbers do, you need to be in library mode.

when i click on library mode, it says no files. and tells me to switch back to file view. in file mode i add sources of all my external drives. but when i switch back to library mode it still says no files.

am i missing something here?

You need to set content and scan the content... context menu on the share.
