i tried to use irclib and ircbot from python, but after connecting xbmc starts to make excessive use of the harddisk, altough the script works perfectly on my pc

that would be about 35 mb when not playing music or a movie.
but the excessive use of the harddisk has nothing todo with memory usage beacause the xbox doesn't use virtual memory
