has anybody used the hauppauge mediamvp? i could get another xbox used and build another xbmc system, but for my other rooms, this is pretty compelling for <100$. they say it has divx support now but i'm curious how comprehensive that compatability is, and if you cna upload new codecs easy enough.

i had 2 mvps and sold them.
they worked ok, but needed a pc to be on all of the time to be functional. i have been very pleased with my unslung linksys nslu2 and my softmodded xboxes with xbmc. they can access 300 gb on the slug's hd with no pc on the wire :-) mort |

i recently purchased a mediamvp and returned it within a week or so.
the interface and functionality were rather clunky. it felt almost like a product that hadn't been fully tested. -ubergeek |
