What are those squares under the Avatar for?

just curious..

on some users here in the forum i see some white and/or yellow squares below the position where usually the forum avatar is located?

what do those squares mean?

those are warnings. 1 square = warning level 1

they are awarded when a user (usually a freshly joined user) decices to go ahead and either

a) post something stupid
b) fail to do a simple search

i already thought that :d .. so they got a "yellow card" like in a football game ..
