hi i had a ton of stuff deleted by some program that was running on my pc before, including my tcip information, so i was told to wipe down my hard drive and i did by going into system recovery so now my drives are clean and i've recouped the programs that came with the computer already bit in. problem is that i dont have a start button on the bottom right hand side of the screen nor do i have the taskbar. i know that they haven't been dragged down or anything because i thought i had but i did recovery again and had the same issue. then i start getting a bunch of pop ups about registry, i've looked up some programs to fix registry but they fix 10 or so at a time, apparently th ese programs are telling me that i have at least 200 registry problems. can anyone help me find a program that would help fix this, or anyone with knowledge of windows xp can you help me get my start button and taskbar back.

i have a stock sony vaio rx640 running on celeron and windows xp. i could really use some help with this.

thank you for your assistance ahead of time, my email is keyser9soze@hotmail.com if you chose to help me privately.
