while i could care less about using my xbox as pvr (linux with myth tv plus a usb capture card, just isn't worth it), or as another torrenting tool (i can do that on my computer). the idea i had recently of combining both tools to make a torrent powered pvr feature for xbmc sounds pretty sweet to me. using a normal pvr interface (replace the channel column with available shows, and the channel rows with individual show episode torrent) that would fetch show/torrent information from supported websites like possibly suprnova.org's tv section, or downloadanime.com to create a list of available shows that you can schedule to download.
maybe i'm asking to much, or the idea isn't as hot as i think? what do you guys think? |
