ok i just got my hands on a imac g3, yeah i can hear you laughing now hahaha yeah it's a dinosaur. it's running on mac os 8.6 i'm trying to update the operating system, but it doesn't seem to be free. anyone have knowledge of how i can skirt buying mac os x or anything higher than 8.6, i really want to put it to use as it will be my only computer for a while (long story i have to give up the one i have). please any suggestions are welcome. you guys rock, i'd rather ask here than anywhere else. you haven't failed me once yet.

thanks
soze
