scanning programs

is it possible to just have the program scan find the default.xbe's as an option. this would stop all the dashboard updates apearing and stop my family from causing me grief everytime i go out for a few hours. :d

or alternatively a method of stopping xbmc scanning certain folders.

for example, if xbmc encounters a file in f:\proapps\ called xbmc_ignore.txt, it should not bother scanning this folder (and its subfolders) for files. it would allow potentially dangerous applications such as configmagic to be hidden away on the hard drive, only being made accessible by deleting/renaming the xbmc_ignore.txt file via ftp or telnet.

just setup the bookmarks properly in xboxmediacenter.xml.
