Playing DVD's

heya,

was wondering what the best dvd player out there is for the xbox.
xbmc isn't ideal for dvd's. i tried
dongle free dvdx but, doesnt support the remote.

what is a good dvd player that alows you to fast forward (while seeing video), 5.1 dts, and other nice to have features?

just use the patched (region free/progressive scan) xboxdash.xbe as a dvd player. at the moment i think its the best.

or if you don't have the dvd kit dvdx2 is your choice.

does the xbmc support menus in dvd's.

i tried but it plays automatically the dvd skipping the menus.

i would like xbmc to play dvd's instead of the default xboxdash.xbe (althought in this i have menus) because i have a weird problem.

when i play a dvd movie done by memoriesontv (program to make dvd's from pictures) in xbox default player it plays too fast (maybe 2x), sound is fast and everything is fast.

but if i select in xbmc the single *.vob's is plays ok.

anyone with the same problem or there is a solution for it?

no, and it's does not either support 'simple' .ifo parsing (simple or simple is relative

) or dss decryptions like xbmp do
