Auto detect?

i have four computers running on my network workgroup (farm) i dont remember which xbmc release it was but at some point my computers shares were detected automaticly because i never touched the xml...i havent tried to access any shares in a long time but now when i do all i see is one computer and i get access denied when i try to get in...what happened to the other computers...what should i edit to see all my computers on my workgroup named farm?
