what is needed is a reliable way to translate a location code (zip code, weather code, postal code whatever) into an appropriate map. weather.com actually does have a map but can probably only be done by parsing html pages which is liable to break.

furthermore images are copyrighted in general and would not be licenced in this matter which could lead to some repercussion down the road if the xbmc community puts notable strain on the image servers.
