Keymapping: double trigger?

i'd like to see a feature with double keymaps on one key, especially the stop key.

when pressing stop when watching a movie it would be nice if a bookmark is created and the movie stops so the next time you press play in the filechooser mplayer starts playing from the latest bookmark.
