Default.xbe

i downloaded xbmc source code v 1.1.0 i looked for the default.xbe file to ftp to my xbox but couldnt find it... any ideas?

i'll cut you some slack - it is your 1st post after all.

heres some stuff you need to understand.

* you are not the 1st person to ask these sorts of questions. use the search button to avoid pissing people off.
* source code is exactly that, not compiled in to an executable (no default.xbe)
* do not ask for copies of xbe as you will be banned (xbe's are *compiled using copies of ms xdk - which the team do not do - or provide)
* read the tutorials & threads - every thing you need to know has been written many times.

ps, search the 'usual places' to get what you want. (thats the only clue i'm giving you - otherwise my ass will get banned too!)

so we just download all of xbmc files exept for one, then it's up to us to find that file,than we put it with it and xbmc will work? what is so bad about the file that the xbmc team dosn't put it in the .rar with the rest?

do you see what i mean nevidimka, every day, a new poster asks a question that they think has not been asked before.

btw breakz, the answer is no!

"source code is exactly that"! *<< *source is source. *once compiled you can throw away the source, it is not needed.

but in all honesty, if you don't know that, you need to look for a pre packaged set of files - usually a rar (like a zip) package that you unrar & put on xbox (no compile required, no source code included!!!)

do not download source if you dont know what it means!

read the tutorials (this forum, google & xbox-scene are your friend)


search usual places for information that will lead you to complete rars *(that is the only clue i will give anyone.)
