on the back of the xbox where you plug in your av cables it says 'audio video input/output'... does the xbox really support audio video input? can the xbox be used as a 'tivo' type device? thanks!

wow...... first off wrong forum(sorry for sounding rude), first try reading the instrucito manual on how to hook the xbox up to your tv. i dont think the xbox has anything that says video in/out, maybe just out, but to answer your question...no you can't support video in (with out some serious modding), also there shouldnt be any av connection in the back of the xbox, they have their "special" cable with the a/v's on the end of the cable so that you have to buy their cable and not use any stand alone a/c cables.

has anyone noticed that the av plug on the xbox is labelled as a "audio video input/output".. hmm yes it labled "audio video input/output" weird, i wounder if there is some sort of video prosessor built inno, that's just a type-0 misstake. the xbox motherboard does not have any video-in capable microchips in it at all. i'm 100% sure.

above statement a quote from gamester17.
