B-frame support

are b-frames supported in mpeg4 files with the current version of xbmc or do i have to disable them during encodes?

i know that gmc & qpel are not supported. *can somebody explain why since i noticed that they were in the xbmp?

if ffmpeg (link) (http://ffmpeg.sourceforge.net) support then mplayer (link) (http://www.mplayerhq.hu) support them and if mplayer (http://www.mplayerhq.hu) then xbmc (can) support them, simple huh?
