??? often... about 99% of the time, the xbox crashes when booting xbe files. i have checked and rechecked the configuration and occasionally it will work, making me assume that everything is set up correctly. is anyone else having problems like this? any advice?

it's been reported before. will try and look into it tonight.
as for advice: be patient, or revert to an older build.
:) thanks for the quick reply. i will keep my fingers crossed! if it's any help, i have managed to get xbes to work by making the xbox do something on the hdd. for example scanning for programs. i dunno if this is just coincidence though.
hi! i'm having the same problem using xbmc 1.1.0 (2004-12-03) i didn't have any problems the first few times, but today it just won't work. launching any xbe's gives me a black screen. doesn't seem to help making it do some hdd accessing either. very frustrating since xbmc is now my only dash.
no news on this bug?

read the changelog. it was fixed a few hours after my post.
