Need help with ics

i need some help with the ics.

xbmc was working correctly (rss, shoutcast, weather, etc) then all of a sudden it cant get any of them.

i'm using a wireless laptop and a crossover cable to the xbox.

ip settings in evox:

ip: 192.168.0.3
mask: 255.255.255.0
gateway: 192.168.0.1

lan:
192.168.0.2
255.255.255.0
192.168.0.1

the wireless is set to shared.

the mask for it is 255.255.0.0 i dont konw if that may be the problem or what also the gateway is x.x.254.254 while the ip is x.x.0.38.

i set xbmc to automatic for the ip also did manual. the time is fine. i can ftp into the xbox thru evox so i know thats fine. but i don't know what the problem is for connecting to the internet.

any help is appreciated.
