Remote playlists (itunes)

anyone else using itunes from xbmc ??

it would be awesome to be able to setup a playlist on my pc (using itunes) - and then select the same playlist from xbmc.

currently - i can view the entire music library - and i guess i should be able to create my own playlists (on xbmc) - but would be waaay cool to play a "remote playlist"...

any way that this can be done ??

its aleady there and is really rather neat. two things to setup:

1. add your pc's ip only to the daap entry in the music section of the xboxmediacentre.xml config file.

2. ensure your playlists are shared within itunes ie. in edit->prefs and tick 'share my music' then select your playlists that you'd like to share or see within xbmc.

forza was one of the coders who helped develop this feature, as well as many others that i was not aware of.

yep - it does work - but i'm getting a "combined list" of all songs - when i select itunes from xbmc.

in itunes - i have a playlist for "rock", "pop", "dance", etc - and xbmc just shows everything - all together.

how can i select the "rock" playlist created in itunes - and then do random (from xbmc)...??

can you view the "playlists" ?? (not just everything together) ??
