Playing ISO files..

hi there, i've been trying to come up with a way to not have to purchase a dvd-changer for my ever growing dvd collection. with all the nice new box set's it would be nice to have to not change the damn dvd all the time.

i was thinking that is it possilbe to backup my dvd collection to a single iso file on a hdd and play that iso file via xbmc?

if xbmc can is it just a case of setting up and smb share?

will it work just like a normal dvd (menus etc) or is there another way to do this? is there away to get the "normal" dvd player software to play my backed up .iso images of my dvd collection.

spearate iso's for each dvd, streamed from pc using samba- yes

dvd menu support - not at the moment

no other dvd playing software on the xbopx supports dvd playback from anywhere other than the dvdrom drive

try searching next time these questions have been answered several times before
