Connecting two Xboxes

hi,

when transfering files from one xbox to another i've used two methods before.
1) xbox1 -> pc and then pc -> xbox2 *using ftp. this is slow since the same file(s) is transfered twice.
2) ftp client software on the xbox. the ftp client i tried (dont remember the name) was very unreliable and buggy (unfortunally).

but is it possible to use the "samba workgroup"? i'm using samba to transfer files between xbox and pc and that is working very good.
could i in some way setup so the xbox2 is visible from xbox1?
i dont have access to the second xbox until this weekend but i would like some info on this in advance.

nope... xbmc only contains samba client software, not server so you cant share a folder on the xbox.

you could probably use fxp to transfer files between two xboxes.

i use avalaunch as my dashboard, or even launch it as an app and you can transfer between with ease!!!

use flashfxp xbox1-xbox2.. works for me! :kickass:

ok, so there is only a samba client... :verysad:
i think i will try out the avalaunch solution since no pc (and hub) is needed there.
