I've you would like to help me out finding bugs in the next release, get the beta version here (http://ronie.intodarkness.nl/Transparency!-v1.99b.rar).
Please only post bug reports in this thread.
When reporting bugs, include your platform (windows/linux/xbox/mac/atv) and xbmc version.
If it's a visual bug, please include a screenshot of the problem as well.
Translators can also try this version to test their translation.
This is not the final version of the skin, there's still a few things left i'd like to implement before it will be officially released.
known issues:
-xbmc will crash a lot (at least for me) when both the 'recently added script' and the 'weather.com plus' plugin are enabled.
-native media flagging only. (support for skin-based flagging will be released separately)
note:
If you install the opensubtitles plugin, don't install the 'skin hack' from this plugin.

Just had a look at this out of curiosity looks nice but it does have a tendency to crash my system and i only just updated to last nights build of xbmc. will re test it with a different build
to see if it makes any diference..

Not had much time to test but one thing I have spotted is that if I enable quick launch script button for weather it doesn't appear.

You are right I tried to launch plugins from xbmc filemananger and it didn't work in contrary to script.
Bit I did found out that when you want to add script om home window
the line is <onclick>RunScript(special://home/scripts/name of script/default.py)</onclick>
and plugins is <onclick>XBMC.ActivateWindow(videofiles,plugin://video/name of script)</onclick>

I tried the home teather script, but don't work . I have choice a single video intro in the configuration menù of the script. Then i tried to use it in the info panel of a movie. I aspect to see first the custom intro and then the movie but i can only see the movie intro.
Anyway. Great job.

As far as I know the only subtitle script that was done, was first version of OpenSubtitles,by Leo and later fixed by Dan Dar. Rest, AFAIK, are plugins.
Also dont forget that "onclick" you are sending extra arguments to the OpenSubtitle_OSD script.

Episode thumbs seem to be showing incorrectly, usually with heads been cut off. Not sure if this a fault of my setup but in 1.03 it wasn't evident. Using xbox, xbmc r22356, 720p.

i can guarantee however there's no nuka1195 in this skin.
might be some xbmc bug, try if he's gone after a restart,

if you create custom .nfo files for those movies, so the scraper can pick 'm up and add them to the library...i guess it could work.

I notice you didn't put the fonts (4x3) in beta .And instead put the new font (4x3) bold.Maybe you can rename the old 4x3 font to big.Since it wasn't really 4x3 but it was just bigger .So you would have for example fonts: default , default big and default (4x3) bold.

this one is a xbmc 'bug'.
if i switch my resolution to 4x3 and check with PM3.HD the same issue is there.
edit: same problem in MiniMedia
Project Mayhem works fine though...so it might be a side effect of running 720p skins at 4x3

1. When searching a movie via actor (select the actor in the info-screen from an existing movie and then select another movie with this actor), then the plot is wrong formatted ("justification" instead "left alignment") in the info-screen of the new selected movie.
2. When playing a movie, that was found via actor search (via info-screen), then the content of the appearing messagebox is curious: i.e.: "Opening File: Bruce Willis"

if there's a "Emulators' folder in the Programs section, it will take you there.
Kinda like to Game button works.
The same applies to Comics, just create (or rename) a folder under Pictures to Comics
and it should be fine.
It appears there isnt too many bugs outside of what's been reported thus far.

i'm not seeing anything weird on my end. the plot info is supposed to be justified.

On the mac, clearart does not appear in either pause, info or OSD
on the AppleTV, there is only OSD and pause, no info and no it does not appear either.
And neither does the subtitle button :(

thanx, the spacing of the plot is indeed pretty weird.
i have no clue if it's a bug in the skin or not.
are you using window, mac, xbox or linux ?
also could you check if the same happens in the PM3.HD skin (if you have it installed)?

But, on 1.0.3 it was definitly not. I'm using this function very often, only to take a look on which movie a actor appears.
I do think, thats a problem with the calculated space for the plot-text. Seems to be not refreshed...

On the AppleTV, I have disabled all buttons in SkinSettings/Shutdown except the Exit one, because I once chose Shutdown and it actually shutdown the AppleTV and not xbmc. Anyway, all buttons are off except Exit and yet the Settings button still shows up. Behavior confirmed on the mac too.

I was quickly going through it and only found a couple bugs.
1) Fanart not working properly (I know this has been mentioned - any idea when new update may be ready?)
2) I added the custom lyrics script button for use when playing audio, and when I click the lyric button, it works and opens lyrics on screen except there is no way to scroll down the lyrics or advance to the next page of lyrics.
Other than that, it works perfect so far! :) I especially love how you animated the backdrops to pan. Gives xbmc a bit more life. :)

there should be an 'up' and 'down' arrow and the bottom right of the lyrics window.
if it's missing in your case, a screenshot would be nice, if possible.

May be a later SVN problem....
I can reproduce it on windows r22434 with Transparency! 1.03 and PM3.HD.
May be a later SVN problem....

1.)In skin settings > backgrounds if you are on the"Animated Backgrounds" and go up on a remote control it actually takes you down. I would have thought that it would take me to the bottom of the list.
Not sure if you meant for it to be like that or not.
2.) in system info, when you enter it it shows "Basic Information" , if you scroll down/up it doesn't change until you click the selected tab. Maybe it should change as you scroll. just my $0.02

you can't specify a certain item in the list to get focus.
actually it remembers the last focused item in the list and it will take you back there on up and down.

that's strange...all you have to do is enable the button (skin settings > scripts > show subtiltle script button in osd)
and then the osd menu should look like this:

I am such an idiot sometimes, in order to compare fonctionalities of v1.03 and the beta, I had both 1.03 and the beta in the skins folder and I had remamed it Transparency!beta. Everything worked fine except for clearart and the subtitles. Obviously certain features call for the skin name to be Transparency!. :rolleyes: Once I removed 1.03 and renamed the beta, everything works as it should.
So people, don't do like me or you'll be wasting a lot of your time and ronie's :blush: for nothing

im not sure if this is a bug.
more than likely i just did something screwy when i set things up and i havent figured out how to fix it yet.
basically the only issue i have had with this beta is that in the main tv shows menu i have only the default fan art.
it wont load my fan art for my shows until i select a show and enter the seasons menu.
at which point everything else appears fine.

i did however make sure that in the settings/backgrounds list tv shows is set to default so im not sure where else the backgounds for the tv shows list page can be changed.

I have both Mac and AppleTV, while I love that the focus for the new OSD is on the Pause button, the behavior has changed, on the mac, if you press the space bar, you get pause with clearart showing but on the AppleTV, it's different story. The only way to see the clearart is when you skip forward or when you bring up the OSD, press pause and take away the OSD, only then do you see the clearart. Was that the intended result?
Suggestion: if the video is paused, maybe the OSD could default back to the "little" pause with clearart after a delay of say 10 seconds?

known issue, it was one of the bugs that crept into in the beta. ;-)

did you set the correct path to the subtitle plugin in Settings > Skin Settings > Scripts > Script path ?
post a debuglog if you can't figure it out. :-)

v1.03 did not have this behavior, it happened with the change in OSD

thanx for the screens and my apologies, i was wrong.
i'm afraid there's little room for clearart with the new OSD, but i'll see if i can squeeze it in somehow.
if you bring up the info dialog instead of the osd menu, clearart will show as before.
the same applies if you directly pause the movie by hitting the 'pause' button on keyboard/remote instead of using the osd menu.
How about placing the clearart on the left instead of the video thumb, after all, we already have the video paused? Naturally, this would only valid for TVshows and if there isn't cleartart, show nothing.

Transparency! v2.00 will be up in a day or so,
