ok i figured out how to install the newest vs of xbmc as an app but now i want to run it as my dash again but this time i cant use the auto patcher because it just reinstalls the old vs agian how to i make this boot as my defult dash iv tryed the .xbe shortcut maker and all it has done is left me even more confused iv even tryed the wiki but that hasnt helped either

There's a guide on the wiki for installing as dash. It has a prerequisite that you understand fully how your mod works, which it doesn't sound like you have yet.
