all;

with the great work from ezar2003, new video and audio codeces have been tested for xbmc.

link: http://www.xboxmediaplayer.de/cgi-bin....;t=5966 (http://www.xboxmediaplayer.de/cgi-bin/forums/ikonboard.pl?act=st;f=5;t=5966)

the collection he has compiled also includes vp6, which makes it possible to view nsv streams on the xbox (these streams are not included in the "streampack").

for more nsv info:
http://ken.winamptv.net/modules....e&sid=1 (http://ken.winamptv.net/modules.php?name=news&file=article&sid=1)

listing of streams (e.g. "love hina" seems to be very popular):
http://www.winamptv.org/list/

maybe somebody could compile and organize a structured donload file for these as well (i.e. similar to "streampack")...

regards!

uhm? watching nsv streams is already possible for a long time now (a few months)

i watched love hina all ready for long time but maybe that weren't vp6 streams?

also another nice one from desync.com is hellsing (but for some reason not always online...)

http://64.156.25.85:8000/;stream.nsv

and save with notepad as .strm

from changelog.txt

- 02-07-2004 added: support for vp4 / vp5 and vp6

so since june 2 2004 vp4 5 and 6 have been able to play via the dll´s listed in the readme.txt in the mplayer/codecs folder. (vp3 is supported directly from mplayer.dll)

hmm for my feeling it was longer a go but who cares..

yes - looked around a bit and tou are right - it has been around for a while:

* * http://www.xboxmediaplayer.de/cgi-bin....4;st=30 (http://www.xboxmediaplayer.de/cgi-bin/forums/ikonboard.pl?act=st;f=4;t=234;st=30)

would be nice to have a gui interface (similar to / part of kml browser developed in python) for these stations, since they change frequently (similar to shoutcast radio they are broadcasted by induviduals users - static list similar to streampack not the way to go).

from winamp this is possible, but "apparently you need a license from aol to get access to the winamptv listings", so this is not a viable options.

however, it seems like sombody else is working on the same thing for their web-site:

* * http://www.winamptv.org/list/

apparently (i can only find audio streams), this info should be available from the yp.shoutcast.com site (also used by kml browser?):

a) "this list is autogenerated by a program created by the 1337 ken52787"

b) "i haev emailed tom and we all hope he responds so i can parse the yp instead of take forever to add all these links, it looks bad too and an automated system (which we may make in a few days anyway) would look nicer and produce easy to search results."

cheers!
