Hi
I am wondering if it is possible to lower the darkness over the dvd covers.
All other skins I've tried shows the dvd covers much better, so I know its got to be something with Aeon. It doesn't matter if I have light or night view, both are way to dark. Are there any settings I don't know about??
Here are some pictures to show you what I mean:
This is Aeon

And this is minimedia

I know it isn't much of a diffrence, but I think its weird that the Aeon skin is darker.
Are all your covers the same ?
Fine for me with Multiplex on HDTV.

Yes every cover is like that. It's strange how yours looks so much brighter.
It can't be my TV calibration that is bad, since other skins looks good.
I just think it's strange that every screenshots I've seen of this skin, it looks like yours, and nobody has the same problem is me :sad:

Not really when his cover is a completely different version to yours :rolleyes:
That's a poor choice to use as an example because the original cover is very dark anyway

It can be, that it is an overlay picture in the List View Mod, like the glass effect.
change in the Viewtype_List.xml:
<control type="image">
<description>POSTER black overlay</description>
<include>ListIcon_PosterVars</include>
<include>MovieShowcaseOverlay</include>
</control>
to:
<!--<control type="image">
<description>POSTER black overlay</description>
<include>ListIcon_PosterVars</include>
<include>MovieShowcaseOverlay</include>
</control>-->

Didn't work:sad: Could it be any of the other options in viewlist_list? I'm not sure if thats the problem since its not just in the list view mod my posters look like that, but in vanilla auriga and other aeon mods also. but you never know

Are you telling me you can't see the diffrence between the poster in aeon and the exactly same poster in minimedia?:eek: It's clearly that the poster in minimedia is much brighter.
Yes the Aeon one is clearly darker than the Minimedia one, is it only when on that list view in Aeon or them all ?
