I was wondering if there's anyway to change the User-Agent used to access a video link. I know i can change along the way easily in python with add_header. But I wanted to change the XBMC User-Agent to IE since a wmv video I'm accessing redirects to a different page unless the User-Agent is IE.

Any thoughts?

Btw.. I got to the point where I was about to right my own php forwarder that would change the User-Agent.. but realized that's probably a messy solution ;)

I do not think that this is currently possible. Suggest you submit a feature suggestion on trac http://xbmc.org/trac
