I need help with crossover cable networking please?

Hi,

I am connecting my xbox to my pc with a crossover cable. The PC is connected wirelessly to the internet. At the moment I cant access any of the shared files or the internet features on the xbox. How can I set this up correctly?

bridge your lan and wlan on your pc... i.e. set the gateway of the lan card to be the wlan card

I am an idiot when it comes to networking. How would I begin to do this?

sorted it now.

Right click on wireless device in windows - properties - allow network sharing. all works on xbox now
