imeem Media Platform as an alternative to last.fm?

Since LastFM became a paid service, it would be nice to have a free alternative supported by XBMC. I suggest Imeem.

I belive they have APi's we could use:

I just found out that Imeem might not be good for radio playback:
media playback is not available to applications off of imeem.com through the media platform.
