guys,

have noticed settings for replaytv in the xbmc software. what is 'replaytv' and how does it work????

it's a pvr. replaytv.com (http://www.replaytv.com) and replaytvfaq (http://www.replaytvfaq.com) are good places to learn more.

had a quick look but don't quite get it????

i understand pvr's but how does that integrate with the xbox, is the sw built into xbmc?? do you need to subscribe to a service??

you buy a replaytv box to record tv shows and to pause live tv, among other stuff (like tivo). it records show digitialy on a hard drive in the replaytv box. you have to pay a fee to replaytv to have this service. xbmc has the ability to watch a movie on the xbox streaming it through the network from your replaytv. i have a xbox in my room and the replaytv is in the livingroom, so i can watch replaytv movies in my room.
