Hey... I wan't to know how the trailer mode works..
When i enter a specific Movie in xbmc (Ex to play it, read movie info about it etc etc) Can i then watch a trailer of the movie!? Downloaded directlyfrom the internet?

Can XBMC only look up trailers on IMDB!? If there is no link on IMDB, then the trailer is not downloaded!??
There is no options to get them directly from Apple, or YouTube!?
you can download them yourself. movie-trailer.avi for movie.avi

I don't wanna download them... I have a lot of movies.. And i just wan't the option when i enter a movie, to be able to view the trailer (Streamed) I don't want all my trailers to be downloaded...
well then, patch welcome.

??? Is the only option in XBMC to download all trailers manually!?? There is no option in Video section to stream them directly from Ex. Apple!?
you state it as if this is something trivial. it is not. apple do not offer direct download links. to process you'd need CODE which sets the session up etc. which translates to a plugin.
your best bet is to add a function to the amt plugin which injects trailer links into the db. i'm still surprised nobody has done this yet.

Hmm sounds far to advanced.. I guess i have to switch back to Mediaportal then, and wait for it to be implemented here.... Because i don't now how to make that program / Plugin for XBMC!??

Sure. Media center SW which can not stream trailers for the movies I already have is absolutely useless :eek:
I never had such need, but that's perhaps because I watch trailers before buying movies.

Allright... I have changed my mind now :)
How can i get XBMC to download all my trailers to the movies i have!?
And how is the trailers shown!? Can i get them to show "at the spot" where the big cover is shown, when you press "i" for movie info...?
When I use to use MediaCompanion they would give me url's for trailers. Havent looked or bothered to see if MIP or Ember does it.
