I'm not sure at what SVN revision this appeared but now whenever I change songs while one is playing I get a sort of chirp.
I'm on revision 21127.
I am using audio over HDMI.
The lons have nothing to show during playback in the way of helpful information.
Any ideas?

please enable debug logging in settings and then post the log at pastebin and hopefully someone will see something in there.

Try disabling crossfading as well.

Debug logging is enabled. Seriously there is no useful info at all. I will try disabling the cross fade tonight and see if that fixes it.

Use pulseaudio. I had to switch because of this. Pulseaudio does not have the same issue.

Really? That sucks I hate pulseaudio. This hase been working fine for 6 months.
