Option to also sort movies by "Release Date" in the video library?

Doesn't "Sort by Year" do this?

"sort by year" will sort the movie by year but if the library is big it just basically turns into "sort by name". This is what I mean:

Id like this feature also if its not to much work.

Is it also possible to sort by date added? like in last added but without the limitation in number of movies?

Maybe there are a ticket about this i just wanted to make sure its not already possible and i just havent figured out how.

Ah I see what's happening. Even if the whole release date is in the nfo, xbmc only stores the year portion.

Probably should store the date and filter out to year at runtime, yeah.
