Xbox scripting (automatically performing a task)

howdy,

i'm working on a video project that has me using xbmc to pull live windows media 9 live streams. is there a way to have xbmc on boot automatically load a .strm file and start playing it.

i basically want the xbox to boot into xbmc and have the stream start without any interaction from a user.

any ideas? anything close to that?

should be possible with a autoexec.py script (gets executed by xbmc on startup if preent).

but since i have no idea of python coding i move this to the python forum maybe some of the python gurus there may be able to help. :)
