I was inspired by the hard work of Reaven (allowed me to include his ClearArt mod), Anoobie, jsm00thie & Marcin77 (on the trailer mod and font work), because I wanted to make this mod but it was impossible without their hard work, so a BIG thank you guys, not to forget the person who made the stock image for backdrops, whoever you are.
I love the night themed multiplex, but thought everything lacked that same deep sheen, so here is what I came up with for myself and thought I'd share for those who like it. So I present to you:

Installation Notes:
Extract mod to Aeon Auriga (http://github.com/djh/aeon/commits/auriga) directory.
Extract transparent icon & case packs to Aeon (http://github.com/djh/aeon/commits/auriga) directory also.
Extract ClearArt starter pack folder to Aeon/Media for ClearArt support.
Reaven's ClearArt Mod (http://xbmc.org/forum/showthread.php?t=51705) for ClearArt specific help.
Extrathumbs Slideshow:
If you are using the plot view and only have two thumbnails for a movie leave them in the extrathumbs folder as usual. To enable the slideshow you must place half of them in a new folder named '1', and another named '2' inside the extrathumbs folder.
Known Issues:
Thick panel not working in TV Multiplex view. Let me know if you can help fix it.

Hmm can you post a screenshot ? It should be ok once the night theme is enabled from the top menu and the panel is set to thin.

could you maybe get the font size of the plotline a ltille bit bigger so that the second line isnt visible before fading?
I'll try but I haven't got much code knowledge, still learning. I'm pretty sure it's done from the font.xml somewhere. I'll have a mess around with it and if I can't I'll ask Marcin77 to have a look at it, because this has been annoying me too.
In the meantime a workaround I have is to open your media manager like MIP or Ember Media Manager and edit the tagline for the movie to make it sorter. On IMdb they have alternate taglines for all the movies if you select "More.."
For example:

Haha yeah I was changing some of them but it gets annoying, a good few of the movies don't have alternate taglines either, will have to get it fixed, stay tuned. :p

This should do nicely, but I'll be looking for a way to make it better.. to keep the original font size without it being clipped, but I'm starting to like it this way.

Replace your Font.xml in Aeon's 720p folder with this, download archive on 1st page updated also.

Yeah I changed the font size for now which I'm starting to like, I'll try changing the position for the plot control later though thanks ;)

hehe yeah... it has these thumbs because i have no thumbs for butterfly effect at the moment, so xbmc uses the thumbs from the movie before, which had sone... which is in my case lock stock & two smoking barrels :D
I've been making new episode tabs this evening guys (Where it says "Episode1.1" etc), ready to import for the next version if you like them.

Ok thanks, I might do one thats a combination of both, or set one as default but put the other one in the .rar for anyone that wants it.

BTW in what XML is the new volume bar and disc icon when you play music even the new submenu under settings, I would like to add it manually I dont want to update the skin because am afraid of loosing my mods.

I didn't look for an XML for them because I just replaced the images with redesigned ones but I'd say the menu itself is in "DialogContextMenu.xml".

where is the volume icon ?

Cool guys, thanks ! Like I said if it doesn't look right on your screen let me know your screen resolution and I'll resize it, I made it big as a lot of people like reaven use large displays. Unfortunatly I had to put it on rapidshare because nobody I can find hosts images that large, unless I put it on my deviantart or something.
Any other troubles let me know !
Backdrop edited (backdrop 3) - few changes on it and now more suited to 1080p displays.

You need to download Auriga from the github for this mod to work
what about the movie aspect ratio media Flag ?
Still no Aeon mod with this feature which is overdue in imho.
There are no flagging files contained in this mod, the standard used now is the Native Media Flagging mod, the author is upgrading it all the time so let him know you are eager to get the aspect flagging.

This mod combined with black's Black mod is truly awsome i have added both together and is fantastic just how the standard auriga should look like. DuMbGuM Have you considered doing a full set of the default icons for auriga in the style of the goback icon as that would look better than the standard ones?

I hadn't really but I am now ;) I want to keep supporting it so I'll probably work on that next as it would be nice to do some more. :p

Great news as i have been searching for a replacement set that looked good and failed to find anything that worked. but i do like the idea of just having text on the default icons in the style you did for the default folder back. i look forward to seeing what you come up with:)

Well i have used pretty much all of the textures and combined them with black's black mod.
The icons are actually better than i were expecting it now feels like a complete skin if ya know what i mean i am also using the backdrops as they fit in better than the ones i were using. and i will be including them in my future releases for the xbox, thanks a million ya just made my day....:grin:
ps if i think of anything else that may be improved i will give you a shout as the black with the blue tinge is great

That would make sense for most folk who use stuff like pictures and apps but i am more than happy with the ones you done so far.:)
Ps the info panel in the above link i altered the brightness on one so it fits in well with the light theme and the other i darkend slightly and still looks great

sounds good as that's somat i don't use is the clear art, it's a bit over kill for my tastes:)
lol yeah I thought it might annoy some people. Will be updating a few things as soon as I can, cheers.
Is there any way to make the popups text and the context menu text lighter where its easier to read? I know this might be a personal thing for me, but its difficult for me to actually read what its saying and what im scrolling through on the context menu since the font is dark.

It may be to do with your screens display as they seem very visible to me, but I'll certainly have a look to see if I can make them white or lighter for you if I can, thanks for the suggestion.

I can make the fonts larger or make the menu darker, would this help? Not sure just yet how to change the font colour, thats probably all you need really. I'll have another look tomorrow.

Try that it will make the text larger, see if it helps at all...
And place this (http://i31.tinypic.com/25i5jj8.png) in your 'media/dialogs' folder, it will put the text on a darker background.. Rename it to 'context_middle.png'

Thanks, I tried changing that value yesterday but it only affects the colour in the showcase and multiplex view, not the list view, I'm not sure what code to add to make that work.
