Need to change error screen ftp

when putting the new xbmc build on my xbox i made a mistake and got the error screen when my xbox loaded up. i need to ftp into my xbox to fix the problem, but it tries to initialize a network with dhcp. is there anyway i can make it static instead of dhcp? my xbmc was always set to use a static ip, but for some reason the error screen is trying to make it dhcp. :verysad:

leave it for a while.

if it fails, it will setup as static.

i've left it going for about half an hour, still no luck. how long should it take to change?

unless you've modified ur bios' boot order, just use an evox boot disc.
