Alladin Advance modchip won't boot

help: hi there. i have one xbox with aladddin advance chip and i use xbmc as dashboard.
to run my aladdin chip and boot some dashboard other then the original one i need to press the power button during 2seconds or more.
my question is: is there a way to change this, make my chip run no matter how i press the power button and run my xbmc as my default dash?

if you did that you'd be shut out from xbox live forever. there may be other situations where you'd want to boot with the modchip disabled as well.

i have an aa+ modchip and you don't have to hold it down for 2 seconds, more like 1/2 second.

i know that i would lose the xbox live, but, i dont use my xbox to play games.
