I have an issue when I try to update the library for tv shows - where it generally works ok for films.

Previously the library did update for the tv episodes with no problems but currently it does not.
It will pick up the main tv series I have but list it as no episodes for each series.

I have the tv series and episodes stored in the normal way ie

>TV>Tv Series (eg 24)> Season no.> episode files

The only series which is being picked up is a new one which I have recently added - it is saved using the same structure as the others.

Any idea what is going wrong? :confused2:

Thanks.

Ok I seem to have managed to get the episodes to pop up in one tv series but not via an ideal method.

I had used media info plus to scan the tv folders before and save an .nfo , .tbn folder , fanart etc.. in the directory.

If I delete all of these files and then rescan my library from within xbmc then the episodes appear.

However I have also used media info plus on my movies and they have similar info saved in each movie folder and xbmc scans and picks them up no problem.

Is this a bug with the database function within xbmc or am I doing something wrong here?

Any help appriciated. Thanks.

Unfortunately I think fixing one series via the method in the last post seems to have been a fluke and I can't replicate it at all.

At present XBMC can scan and pick up what TV series I have but won't pick up any episodes apart from a random couple of shows which don't seem to be any different to the others.

I have posted at log at the below - in case anyone can help with this - it does seem to be a strange bug as I can't see what I'm doing wrong here.:confused2:

Thanks for any help.

(Additional details: I'm on Vista 64 bit, Nvidia 260 with driver 185.85 (WHQL), XBMC version is SVn 20222 (May 12th build))

What series do work and which do not?
Yes (Prime) Minister is getting a lot of "could not enumerate file" which means that your filenaming conventions do not match XBMCs requirements.
