Increasing streamin buffer?

I recently installed the newest version of xbmc on my computer and can't find the option to increase the buffer for network streaming. I remember doing that on older versions, but I just can't seem to find it again. Can anybody help me?

It has been removed in the latest official build as it didn't do anything usefull .
