All,

I used Media Info Plus to get all the details for my movies. Apparently is not using these files as the data is is showing is different form the data in the nfo files.

Any suggestions ?

Thanks in advance

Unfortunately not :) You need to enable debug logging in system settings.

What movie exactly fails while scanning? Please try to clean database in video settings and re-scan.

Do you have a file and folder structure for us to reproduce it?

My folder structure is pretty straight forward:

\moviename1\moviename1.ext
\moviename2\moviename2.ext
\moviename3\moviename3.ext

etc.

I think I have found the problem, the log says;

07:15:13 T:3120 M:2436386816 DEBUG: Found matching nfo file: smb://NAS-1/Movies/HD Movies 2/Ben X/mymovies.xml

mymovies.xml is info scraped by another application used for MC7, apparently XBMC uses that file.

I thought XBMC uses the *.nfo for movie data ? or is it just picking the first XML files it finds ?

Thanks
