As I don't speak a multitude of languages (I struggle enough with English!) I'd appreciate it if any users could translate the skin into other languages.

I have few more features to add but I doubt there will be many (if any) more strings added to strings.xml.

If you do translate it please post a link in here or PM me with a link and I'll add it to the project.

PS Whilst on the subject of language support, I've tried to size the areas and labels to take account of some longer translations wherever possible. If you do find an area where your translation can't fit (and the English version does) please post a screenshot of the mis-fitting label and I'll see what I can do :nod:

Forgot to mention that the default fonts may not include all the foreign language chars that you need but I have included an option to use Arial font which should.

The Arial font doesn't look all that great but I may look into including another more extensive international font that looks a bit better in the skin at some point in the future.

I've noticed now that string 31205 should be "Ocultar" too, instead of "Esconder" (they're synonymous, i used "Ocultar" on other strings because it's a smaller word).

That string "Play the" is used for the DVD menu on home, as in "Play the DVD", what should the translation be for that?

BTW, you're missing the two new strings I mentioned above (31219 and 31304)

Oops, sorry about the missing strings... For some reason I missed the fact that there were 3 pages to this thread - I only read through the first, so it was actually quite lucky no danish translation had been posted before mine! :p

Sorry. I just assume if someone posts a translation (either new or update) then it's the right one. In future I'll try to make sure that the original/previous translator (or translators) gets a chance to comment on any updates by other users.

It would probably be an idea for the pair of you to PM each other and come to an agreement on exactly what the translation should be? Let me know how you get on.

There are some errors due to how the strings are positioned : for example on System > Configure Skin > Configure Settings for XXX where you read "Eliminare XXX la cartella degli sfondi" (which is "Delete XXX Background folder") it should be, to be correct italian: "Eliminare la cartella degli sfondi per il menu XXX" if you can do someting i will gladly update the strings.
Also if there are others italians users, feel free to update if you came up with a better translation.

Oh and thanks for the skin its quite perfect for my needs... ;-D

One is male and the other is female genre :)

It would be much better if one can edit or override the default strings of xbmc. Anyway - my girlfriend was NOT ENTIRELY confused while navigating through the menus, so i guess it does the job :)

:shocked: I now managed to notice that there is no Bulgarian translation for XBMC itself. I guess I'll have to sit on my ass and do the whole thing. :sniffle:
